Please read this Terms, Conditions, and Disclaimer of Service and Use Agreement carefully and in its entirety before using this website and/or any of the services offered.

Agreement

All of the following information comprises the Terms and Conditions of Service and User Agreement (“Agreement”) for all services, information, and content offered by Sophie King (Psychic Sophie) and her Spiritual Counseling Psychic Services (“Service”) and the PsychicSophie.com (“Site”), owned and operated by Sophie King. This document sets forth the agreement between Sophie King (Psychic Sophie) and her Spiritual Counseling Psychic Services (collectively, “Service” “Our” or “We”) and each user (“You” “Your” or “User”) with the aim of governing your use of this Service and Site. By using this Site, you agree, without modification, to be bound by all terms and conditions contained in this Agreement, and all other operating rules, policies (including, without limitation Sophie King’s (Psychic Sophie’s) Privacy Policy). If you do not agree to the terms and conditions contained in this Agreement, you are prohibited from accessing or otherwise using this Service and/or Site for any purpose whatsoever.

We may, in our sole discretion, modify this Agreement at any time. The date at the bottom of this Agreement will indicate when the latest modification(s) has been made. By continuing to access and use this Service and/or Site after this Agreement has been modified, you are agreeing to such modifications. Therefore, you should review this Agreement prior to each use of the Service and/or Site. In addition, when using services, you shall be subject to any posted guidelines or policies applicable to such services that may be posted from time to time. All such guidelines or policies are hereby incorporated by reference into this Agreement.

Your use of this Site or Service is entirely at your own discretion or risk and no guarantees or warranties are expressed, implied, or offered of any kind. You indemnify and hold harmless “Service” and “Site” against any losses and liabilities.

All readings are for persons 21 years or older.

Any spiritual psychic-medium-Tarot-clairvoyant advice, information, communication, consultation, perceptions, insights, services and any other content or guidance given is under no circumstance meant to replace medical, legal, psychological, financial or other professional advice or services.

Privacy Policy

Please feel completely assured that Sophie King (Psychic Sophie) values your privacy and the confidential nature of her spiritual counseling / psychic services.

Use of this Site and Service is subject to the terms of our Privacy Policy, which is hereby incorporated into and made part of this Agreement. By using this Site and/or Service, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Privacy Policy. We reserve the right, and you authorize us, to use information regarding your use of this Site and Service, and any other personal information provided by you in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

How do we collect information from you?

We collect information about you when you use our website, for example, when you contact us about our services.

What type of information is collected from you and how is it used?

We only collect personal information from you when you provide it to us. For instance, when you choose to schedule an appointment/service, we will collect only basic personal information, which includes your first name, month/day of birth (to ascertain your astrological sign), phone number (to call for your requested service) and email address (so we may confirm your appointment or communicate). If you schedule a reading session and make payments through PayPal, we may collect your full name, mailing address, and email address. If you opted in (said yes) to receive a free copy of your recorded session with Sophie, your email address is used and a link is provided to Dropbox. If you communicate with us regarding our Web site or our services, we will collect any information that you provide to us in any such communication.

When you visit this Site we also collect non-personal information, such as your IP address. The IP address reveals only the way in which you have accessed our site. We will only disclose your IP address to a third party when required by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to cooperate with the investigations of purported unlawful activities and conform to the edicts of the law; to comply with legal process served on us; to protect and defend our rights or property; or to identify persons who may be violating the law, the rights of third parties, or otherwise misusing this Service and/or Site.

We will never sell or otherwise provide the information we collect to outside third parties for the purpose of direct or indirect mass email marketing.

We use your personal information only for our own internal administrative purposes, such as fulfilling requests for information, delivering services, and providing customer support. We use non-personal information, such as Google Analytics, for internal purposes only: to maintain, evaluate, and improve our services and website.

Security precautions in place to protect the loss, misuse, or alteration of your information:

We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us. We are obligated to protect your personal information by making reasonable security arrangements against such risks as unauthorized access, use, collection, disclosure or disposal. Security measures have been integrated into our day-to-day operating practices as part of our commitment to protect the personal information it holds. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, while we use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security and what you transmit to us is at your own risk.

Who has access to your information?

We may use third party service providers to provide certain services to you, and we may share personal information with such service providers. Any company with which we may share personal information is required to protect that data in a manner consistent with this policy and to limit the use of such personal information to the performance of Psychic Sophie Services.

Third Party Product or Service Providers we work in association with or on our behalf:

We may pass your information to our third party service providers, agents, subcontractors, and other associated organizations for the purposes of completing tasks and providing services to you on our behalf. However, when we use third party service providers, we disclose only the personal information that is necessary to deliver the service.

We work closely with various third party product or service providers to bring you our services, such as Dropbox or PayPal. The relevant third party provider will use your details to provide you with information and carry out their obligations arising from what you have entered into with them. In some cases, they will be acting as a data controller of your information and therefore we advise you to read their Privacy Policy. These third party product or service providers will share your information with us, which we will use in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

When you use PayPal, your payment is processed by a third party payment processor, who specializes in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions. If you have any questions regarding secure transactions, please contact them or us.

Please be reassured that we will not release your information to third parties beyond Psychic Sophie for them to use for their own direct marketing purposes. We will only disclose your personal information, recorded voice, and/or an IP address to a third party when required by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to cooperate with the investigations of purported unlawful activities and conform to the edicts of the law; to comply with legal process served on us; to protect and defend our rights or property; or to identify persons who may be violating the law, the rights of third parties, or otherwise misusing this Service and/or Site.

You may be able to access external, third-party websites directly from this Site. If you use these links, you will leave the “Site.” This Privacy Policy does not apply when you access such sites. “Service” does not control or endorse how third parties may use personal information you disclose to them, so you should carefully review the Privacy Policy of any external, third-party Web site you visit before using it or disclosing your personal information to its provider. Please keep in mind that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information online, for example through email, discussion boards, forums or elsewhere, that information can be collected and used by others. In short, if you post personal information online that is accessible to the public, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return. Ultimately, you are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your personal information. Please be careful and responsible whenever you are online and preferably check that you are on a secure page by noting a lock icon on your web browser.

Your choices:

On rare occasion, we may use your personal information to contact you with promotional services or other information that may be of interest to you. You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from Sophie King (Psychic Sophie) by following the unsubscribe link or instructions provided in any email we send.

How you can access and update your information:

We review our retention periods for personal information on a regular basis and will hold your personal information on our internal systems for as long as necessary to provide your service/regular services. This is helpful for inadvertent typos that have occurred and to facilitate faster processing of service requests.

The accuracy of your information is important to us. We’re working on ways to make it easier for you to review and correct the information that we hold about you. In the meantime, if you change your email address, or any of the other information we hold is inaccurate or out of date, please contact us.

Ethics, Purpose of Service and Site

It is Sophie King’s (Psychic Sophie’s) goal to help and serve her clients by enacting the highest level of personal and professional integrity and to provide services to her clients, which inspire trust and confidence. Sophie’s clients receive information, perceptions or insights that come through her, so they may evaluate choices and/or make better decisions. Sophie is in no way responsible for the actions or non-actions taken by her clients or others based on their perception or interpretation of this information given. Sophie is a spiritual counselor; not a fortuneteller, nor does she provide fortunetelling. Sophie provides information and spiritual counseling based on knowledge received through her psychic abilities and the use of Tarot cards. This information is delivered arbitrarily in past, present, or future tense and may concern the past, present, and what could be construed as your future, which is ultimately determined by you.

Recordings

We further reserve the right to record all Service with you for internal record-keeping or for Service’s own protection. By communicating with Service, you acknowledge and consent to having your communication overheard, monitored, or recorded without further notice or warning.

If you wish to record your reading, you must inform Sophie King (Psychic Sophie) beforehand. Any recordings you make or those provided to you are for personal and private use. You may not copy, share, edit, rebroadcast, transmit, or use Sophie King’s (Psychic Sophie’s) image or voice in any medium, under any other setting, or for any other purpose.

MP3 files: If you opted to receive a free copy of your recorded session/reading, via Dropbox, a link to it will be sent in a separate email. If you wish to keep a permanent copy for your personal and private use, you must click on the link and download it ASAP, as the link access and file will be permanently deleted within a day or two. We are not responsible for any glitches or non-recordings that may occur. Keeping notes is advised.

Appointments

It is your responsibility to read Psychic Sophie’s website to ascertain operating hours and how to complete the appointment form correctly, such as choosing two different dates for your appointment request. You have the option to choose several time periods for each date and/or choose “all day” to indicate your availability for each date.

All appointments are first come, first served, and all appointments must be made online. No phoned in requests are accepted. Every attempt will be made to provide your psychic reading on your first or second preferred date and time(s).

New clients are required to verify their email address with paid appointments: You will be sent a confirmation email of your appointment, and your response to this email (by the date and time requested), will be that verification. If no response is received by the date/time requested, the appointment will be canceled and payment refunded, less PayPal fees.

If Sophie is traveling or on vacation, this will be posted on her website, and it is your responsibility to note this. During these times, she will NOT be available to reply to appointment requests or do readings. She suggests that you either wait to submit an appointment request or expect that you will not receive a response until after she returns.

During regular operating hours, on rare occasion, Sophie might not be able to do your reading at the time(s) or on the date(s) you chose. If this happens, she will email you to reschedule. If rescheduling isn’t possible, she will provide a refund for your paid reading, less PayPal fees.

Sophie values her time as much as she does yours. Once your appointment is confirmed, please be on time. A late arrival/connection will cost you in equaled lost time. Sophie is always right-on-time or 2-3 minutes early, not only due to scheduling necessities, but she views this as mutual respect and an honoring of one’s commitments and she expects the same from her clients. There are times when we are all late due to events beyond our control. A timely call or email is expected and appreciated; however, please understand that if Sophie has another client or other events scheduled after your appointment, she cannot give extra time to make up for your lateness.

Sophie will not provide a reading if you are driving. If you must be in your car during your phone reading, please be safely parked before your reading begins. If you are not, your reading time will be used up until you are.

Please be in a quiet place without distraction of background or other noise, as it is too disruptive.

In fairness to Sophie’s other clients and their scheduled times, psychic Tarot readings will not go over the scheduled duration. Please choose an appropriate reading duration for your needs.

Sophie works with individuals one-on-one, she does not do couple or group readings. She also does not accept appointments made on behalf of another. Each person must make their own appointment online, completing the form using their email address, information, and submission of the form.

Readings can often be of a highly personal and private nature. For this reason, Sophie doesn’t recommend that others listen in during your private reading. However, Sophie also doesn’t tell people what they can and cannot do. If you feel safe and comfortable with another person (s) over-hearing your reading, this is entirely your decision to make and responsibility to accept.

Payments

Payment for all services is processed through PayPal’s secure system and all major credit cards are accepted. Once PayPal verifies your payment was made successfully, you and Sophie will receive an email indicating as much.

Following, Sophie will send you an email verifying the date/time of your appointment with the heading: Appointment Confirmation: Psychic Sophie. She will then call you on the date/time as indicated in this email.

Payments made via e-check will delay your appointment or service request until the check has cleared your bank. If you have any questions beforehand, please contact Sophie.

Payments made via PayPal verifies that you acknowledge receipt of Psychic Sophie’s services provided via phone.

Cancellations, Changes, Refunds

Send an email to Sophie via the email address provided on your appointment confirmation or via the contact form located on (Site) indicating that you need to change the appointment or cancel it. It must be received by Sophie a minimum of 24-hours prior to your scheduled date/time. Given that emails are sometimes lost, or online mishaps occur, make sure that you have received an email response from Sophie within the same 24-hour period, which acknowledges your request. Otherwise, the full fee is charged and is not refundable.

Sophie has always paid the seller fee associated to your using PayPal; however as of May 2019, PayPal changed how they handle refunds. She no longer receives credit back for the fee paid by her for a refund transaction. As such, your refund will now be less this fee. The amount depends upon the initial charge for services and whether a domestic (USA) or foreign payment (foreign based payment fees are higher). For example, at this writing, an initial domestic (USA) payment of $40.00 will be less $1.89 in refund, $60.00 will be less $2.58, $85.00 will be less $3.46, and $105.00 will be less $4.15.

Sophie will happily issue a full refund (including seller fees) for a confirmed/paid reading that she was unable to provide due to circumstances out of her control. Any other refunds will be less the current fee charged by PayPal.

NO refunds are issued and NO exceptions:

• Once Sophie has provided a reading.
• For a scheduled appointment that you missed. Sophie’s time was set aside just for you; therefore, she was not available to anyone else.
• Changes/cancellations you made without providing a 24-hour advance notice prior to your scheduled date/time.

Sophie values your time as much as she does hers, and does her best to be fair to everyone, herself included. Your understanding is appreciated!

Sophie’s Reading Process

Information and Timing

Sophie’s clients have her utmost respect. Sophie is always honest, sometimes brutally so, but she will also be as diplomatic as possible. If you do not want the truth as Sophie sees, feels, or hears it, she kindly suggests you find another spiritual counselor / Tarot reader / psychic.

Sophie will disclose to you exactly what she sees, hears, or feels, and some of this information may be about people or situations of which you do not currently possess conscious knowledge. You may have contacted Sophie with a specific goal in mind, and more often than not, this will appear in your psychic reading session, but not always. She may also pick up information that has peripheral importance, which may (at first) seem unrelated.

Psychics can capture a lot of information in all areas of your life, but this information is essentially, energy. For instance, even though Tarot card spreads breakdown information into past, present, or potential future events etc.; Tarot cards and the guidance received from them don’t necessarily adhere to our understanding or principles of time.

Neither psychic abilities nor Tarot cards have a concept of time, and both present this Collective Unconscious information or “potential.” Therefore, any divination or revelation made, which is then interpreted by a psychic or Tarot card reader, is reflective of this Unconscious potential, often expressed or understood within our understanding of time: in past, present, or future tense.

Information in and of itself is essentially inert or displays “potential.” It has no concept of time or space, and it has no power until acted upon in some way (cause), to which an effect is created.

A genuine, legitimate psychic can’t manipulate psychic information or impose order upon it. All we can do is share the information as we receive it, assuming that it has bearing on our life at the moment of receipt, no matter the time frame referenced. We are not magicians so we cannot manipulate or change your life, or make those things you wish for to appear, or get rid of those things you wish would disappear.

It is Sophie’s sincere belief that whatever information she receives is meant for the highest good and is dictated by the Collective Unconscious Mind, the God Source, Energy Source, Higher Self, Spiritual Self, Spirit Guides, or any other nomenclature of similar name/nature.

How it Works

All of Sophie’s psychic readings incorporate Tarot cards, astrology, clairaudient, and clairvoyant abilities.

Bear in mind, the process of reading Tarot cards varies greatly and depends upon each individual and each experience.

A reading can reflect the “story” of one event or relationship or several different stories, events, or relationships, which can appear as though they have no connection whatsoever to each other, when in fact, they do. When a reading reflects several stories, it’s best to view each story as being similar to a jigsaw puzzle.

Imagine you are like this puzzle with thousands of pieces; each piece representing an aspect of the story of your life: past, present, and future. Each puzzle piece is just a fragment, showing only a glimpse of the full picture or story. If all you focus on is a single puzzle piece, or a group of scattered pieces, what you see may be a confusing and nonsensical mess.

Readings can pinpoint some areas or people (puzzle pieces) that will have a direct or indirect impact on you and/or your life and bring them together. And yes, can represent the past, present, and future, all in the one reading. These mini stories are part of the whole puzzle, each revealing an aspect of what you need to know now, irrespective the stories or timing of events are seemingly disconnected. The correlation can be the unfolding or connection to people or events, or a similarity in how each individual processes emotional, spiritual, or logical responses to each person or event.

Everything that appears in a reading has significance. Otherwise, it would not appear.

Often, readings may reflect events, situations, or people around you too. Bear this in mind if Sophie says ‘you,’ because it may refer to ‘it’ or ‘them,’ and not you directly. Regardless, the same puzzle analogy applies, because “we” and everything else around us are connected and a part of the whole.

Try not to assign what you hear to a particular person, situation, or event in the moment. Instead, take in the information as if you were an objective observer simply recording what you hear. If you lose objectivity, you may assign something to a person or event to which it does not belong, and therefore, not realize or miss that to which it might.

It is always best to keep an open mind to the information as presented. Good, honest, professional, and real psychics do their best to guide you, but don’t forget, they too are being guided in the process. Please have understanding, appreciation, and as much as possible, remain open-minded to the information as it’s presented. This not only presents a far more accurate reading, but one whereby the greatest degree of clarity and understanding can be achieved. Sophie’s belief is that everything happens for a reason. If you receive more information in one area and less in another, it all has a Divine purpose.

Sophie interprets what she sees or feels. By so doing, she isn’t telling people what they should or should not do. She provides information that she hopes will bring clarity and understanding, which will enable one to make their own decisions. Sophie doesn’t believe in or endorse giving away one’s own power to someone else, which opposes creating individual empowerment.

During a Tarot psychic reading, Sophie will likely reference her spiritual beliefs or perceptions, but under no circumstance is this meant to diminish or show disrespect for you or your own beliefs, whatever they might be, nor is she trying to push her beliefs or perceptions upon you. Sophie simply shares them because they are part of who she is. Sophie believes Tarot cards reflect essential spiritual Truths applicable to every human being, regardless of their beliefs, and the Tarot doesn’t issue judgments of any kind.

Termination of Services

We reserve the right to deny Service to anyone.

We may limit, suspend, or stop providing Services to you if you fail to comply with these Terms and Conditions, or if the need to investigate suspected misconduct by you arises.

Copyright & Trademarks

You agree that all materials on the Site, including the Site’s text, graphics, design, and other files and the selection and arrangement thereof (collectively, “Materials”), are the property of Sophie King and Psychic Sophie Services, and are subject to and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws and rights.

All rights to Materials not expressly granted in this Agreement are reserved to their respective copyright owners. Except as expressly authorized by this Agreement or on the Site, you may not post, reproduce, display, transmit, distribute, republish, download, copy, perform, exploit, create derivative works or otherwise use any of the Materials in any form or by any means, without the prior written authorization of Sophie King and Psychic Sophie Services or the respective copyright owner.

Trade names, trade dress and logos (collectively, “Marks”) contained or described on this Site and any Marks associated with any services available on the Site are the sole property of Sophie King and Psychic Sophie Services and may not be copied, imitated or otherwise used, in whole or in part, without the prior written authorization of Sophie King and Psychic Sophie Services. Sophie King and Psychic Sophie Services will enforce its intellectual property rights to the fullest extent of the law.

Spiritual, Educational, or Inspirational Purposes Only

Advice, information, communication, consultation, services, and any other content or guidance provided on and through this Service and Site, including information that may be provided on any linked Site, as defined in this Agreement, are provided for spiritual, educational, or inspirational purposes only.
