About Psychic Sophie
My earliest recollection of being psychic or an intuitive was at the age of seven. I remember shaking the hand
of a woman to whom my mother introduced me, and "knowing" she would steal from my mother. I told my
mother of this feeling, but at the time, she regarded it somewhat as childhood whimsy. As it turned out, the
woman did in fact steal some of my mother's jewelry. Although this was an unfortunate event, it proved to be
an inadvertent catalyst of support for this "unusual" gift I possessed, as from that point forward, I was asked
by my mother to "read" just about everyone who came into our home. I consider myself very lucky to have had
this early support, as it provided me the opportunity to trust my intuition and strengthen my abilities.
Although I received support from the inside comfort of my home life, I learned early on to keep my intuitive
abilities a secret from the outside world. It is my hopes that television shows like
Medium,
Ghost Whisperer,
and Door to the Dead
among others, will bring intuition, psychic, and clairvoyant-medium work into mainstream consciousness
and quite acceptable to the majority of society!
My strongest abilities have always been in the realm of clairaudience and energy healing. Sometime later, I
developed clairvoyant / medium gifts, and the desire to learn the mysteries associated to tarot cards. Now,
these gifts have all combined into one when I do a psychic-tarot reading, as they go hand-in-hand.
I have been a professional psychic / intuitive and reader / teacher of tarot cards for over 17 years, as well
as the author of several books on the Tarot and others. Clients have ranged from famous celebrities and
adult stars, FBI agents and folks from every walk of life, to business owners and executives who have sought
my services before hiring key personnel or making radical business changes.
I am always honest, sometimes brutally so, but I will also be as diplomatic as possible. If you do not want the
truth as I see it, I kindly suggest you find another tarot reader / psychic.
No doubt, I am a rebel with many causes and a crusader to invoke change; however, don't confuse this with
a desire to change anyone. Indeed, call me strong willed; yet equally strong is my ability to remain open-minded
and objective, and to love people as they are. All I ask for is original feeling and thinking, as this tells me who you
are, and not who you have learned to become.
I am very spiritual in nature, yet I do not follow particular religions or practices, and "organized" anything's are
not for me. I pretty much go with my own inner flow, and that seems to work best.
As a recent transplant from Los Angeles, CA to Richmond, VA, I am finding a new peace in the laid-back, less
harried life-style I once knew. Seeing a vast array of stars at night, leaves changing color, and traffic delays
caused by crossing squirrels - what isn't there to appreciate? My spirit /soul is happiest being in nature with
dogs, cats, and various other creatures.
Over the years my experiences have varied, some extremely bizarre, some not, and so it comes as no surprise
to me that continuing to utilize my psychic / intuitive abilities to help others is my passion and life work.
